Saw new Jetta for first time

and its ******* ugly. damn what did they do to that thing? maybe this is old news but its the first time i saw it in person. i loved the last model...this looks like ...garbage.

I agree. In the commercial I have to say it didn't look THAT bad. In real like it's crap, epsecially the hood. Looking at it from the side is just not pretty.

I look at the side view of the new Jetta, and I think it looks similar to a Neon, with better looking exterior parts.

It's growing on me. It looks a lot better in darker colors compared to lighter tones, mostly because of the chrome grille. I'd like to see a GLI model with a black grille, like the GTI.

I agree, the '04 GLI looks really good. I was looking at one at the same dealership that I bought my car from.
