Saw a 2003 Titanium on the road!

Well, kind of. It was in the form of a Taurus SEL.

I was driving along the 401 today and I passed a Taurus in "Dark Shadow Grey Clearcoat Metallic" (just looked it up on Ford's website). Anyone who is curious about how the titanium paint looks on the MSP, go down to your local Ford dealer and see if they have a Taurus in this colour. Its not 100% the same, but it is darn close.

I don't think DSG is the same color. It's a color that was new for '01, and came on the Taurus's and Cougars (there may be others I'm unaware of). It might be the same, but for reference, here are a few pics of it on the Cougar.

I hope it won't ever be identical to a Taurus

That metallic thing Mazda does with it paint should set it apart to some degree at least.

And, it HAS to look sharper on a sportier car like the speed vs a taurus.

Don't worry, I didn't say identical. But it is close. Add the a little more metallic to it and it'd be incredibly close.

keep ur head up limited edition... i am dying to see sum 2k3(1/2) msp's rollin around. no matter how cool they look we have the only cars with this paint job for a loooong time. i feel sorry for the poor bastard with sum eclipse, civic, etc. that got a nice idea a few years ago to do a sparkling orange paint job now there are 600 of them around lol.
