Satellite radio question

I talked to the salesman at the dealership about this but he didn't seem to know. In a 2009 sport model, it says the car is satellite radio ready. Does that mean I only have to buy the subscription, or does it mean the antenna is ready but I'll have to replace the stereo?

It means the stereo is capable of controlling a compatible sirius receiver. You need to buy the receiver and install it as well as the antenna which comes with it. You'll also need a subscription, although many of the receivers will come with a free six month subscription. IIRC the receiver costs about $305 from the dealer, however that was for the pre'08.5 one. There's a new module available so you need to make sure you get the newer one as the old one won't work on a '09 model.
