2011 Mazda CX9 Touring
This weekend i get out of my 2011 CX9 with Sand Leather and see a blue coloration on the side of the seat. It was my wifes dark jeans the blue dye color in the jeans transfered to the leather. NO MORE DARK COLORED JEANS FROM NOW ON THATS FOR SURE. I quickly went to the autozone and bought some leather wipes and scrubed till I got it out THANK GOD!!. Is there anything besides putting a seat cover or sitting on a towel that I can put on the seats so this wont happen to the other seats. thanks for any and all suggestions.

We had the same problem with ours during the first couple of months. It has not been a problem since. Maybe the seats have gotten a bit dirtier overall and the blue isn't as noticeable.

That is why we went with the Black Interior. Wash all Jeans several times...and npo one with new Jeans is allowed in the Vehicle. They ride in the back

It was bad had to srub my a** off to get it out ..I was just wondering if there is any kinda of sealer they sell for the leather seats

Discussed here several times. I had same problem. No big deal--simply used leather wipes every few weeks to clean it off.

I've noticed the blue jean stains, but I've not been able to remove it with lexol cleaner/conditioner. What brand wipes are you using?

Black leather was not an option; I live in the desert, black leather is painful :) Hurts just thinking about it.

The same day I notice the blue stain I went to autozone and bought these meguiars leather wipes worked and got it off but tried the same wipes on my other car that my wife drove and couldnt get it off the tan leather so im guessing you have to get off right away to be effective.

I've found zaino leather cleaner does a great job on stains. For tougher stains I just let it soak in for some time. Of course heat can permanently set stains. Not sure how hot your interior gets on sunny days. Also depends on the type of dye they use to color the jeans.

At 29 Stumps, every color is hot! Fabric seats or a large towel....and a remote start to get the Air Cond running.

Drop 50 and Fire for effect.

Zaino works great and in order to protect it better you can also treat your seats with Zaino "Leather in a bottle" that thing is awesome.
I always had light color leather seats in my car, except for a '08 VW R32 and I don't think that light color leather is hard to keep, just need to do some cleaning (I typically wash and treat them every 6 months), I always managed to keep them close to new for several years...
