samco boost hoses

Got them from SFX Performance. They have them on the shelf and overnight for $8 bucks. Look great and feels like the boost is a little more potent. Here's some pics.

They do have to be cut to fit. They will cut them for you, but it delays it a day.

yeah, but well worth it. SU sells a kit with out the clamps for $144 plus shipping. Also, SFX has a Vibrant set as well for about 10 bucks less

The SU silicone boost tubes do come with clamps and they are 89 bucks with free shipping. You also don't need to cut them.

Those aren't the Samco ones. And they come with worm gear clamps. SFX cuts them for you and includes t-bolt clamps.

Yeah but they are the same thing lol. Just silicone tubes. Autoexe makes the samco tubes. They are notorious for quality but the JDM name costs a pretty penny. The clamps are nice though I give you that.

Autoexe distrubes samco made tubes. Thats what I meant. Anyway they look like quality products. Not discrediting your purchase just saying they are pretty pricey for what they are.

I got them for 117 plus 8 for shipping. and that was for overnight. Its a hell of a lot better deal than the 144 plus standard shipping and no clamps that SU wants for the Samco.

So is this just a 3" 90degree elbow coupler and 2.5" 45 degree elbow coupler?

Wondering if I can buy these pieces specifically from places like hosetechniques.com, siliconintakes.com, etc - where they describe the quality of the hose, list the temperatures and applications its rated for, and charge far far less. At the expense of possible fitment or trimming issues.

I'm all about value and justified costs, but if it's substantial (100%?) markup for two tubes and four clamps because they bought it off a vendor, stamped their name and assembled it into a box for you, I can do without that markup.

i doubt the markup is that much. The rating of the hose is 180 degrees Celsius and the burst rating for the cold side is 2 bar and the hot side is 3 bar.

I'm still looking for a part number for an affordable flexible hose to run between the turbo inlet pipe and the BPV. It has to be out there, but I can't seem to find one advertised specifically for the Speed3.

I was hoping there was some sense to the madness of the price being that high for just silicone hose. Plain ol markup? Advertising? Trimming and fitment ensuring? What? I mean, off Hosetechnique's site-

3.15" 90 degree elbow coupler, rated for 270* C and 58 PSI (around 4 bar) - $24.50

2.5" 45 degree elbow coupler, rated for 270* C and 58 PSI (around 4 bar) - $23.59

4 t-bolt clamps for those sizes comes out to around $15. So, approximately $65 for higher quality silicone hose and stainless steel t-bolt clamps that don't pinch the hose under boost that worm clamps will.

Siliconintakes is even cheaper, with couplers at around $17 (200*C / 3.44bar) and t-bolt clamps at $2.60 each, giving you a total under $50.

A vendor that starts with Street and ends with Unit sells a recirculation tube for around $22. Part Number is SUMZRRECIRC.
