01 LX --> MP3 w/ better suspension!
Just wondering what you think about this car. It's got leather interior.... So, what do what it might cost to get the rear end fixed (assuming no suspension problems). Let me know what you think, thanks!

Yeah, I'm always wary of salvage vehicles. They always initially look like a great deal and then upon further review... You have to remember than an insurance company will probably only insure a salvage vehicle for 1/2 the Blue Book of the car. You'll have a tough time getting a loan for it as well. It would probably be most profitable as a part-out, especially with such a young engine. It looks like there's more damage than just the rear, which means more $$$ and more problems...

As wolf mentioned above check out the mp3 in the fs section.

Looking at the damage to the passenger side... that was a pretty hard hit from the back drivers!!

Depends on where you live because car prices vary quite a lot. If that were in Vancouver, it would be a good deal because P5's here are still 10-11k at least.

That's pretty F'd.....

Hatch, both rear 1/4's, 3 doors....rear bumper.... minimum

And the core support up front looks like it's been replaced too...

guess i need to go drive up and sell my car then. Sounds great!

only salvage I'd do is one with a real frame under it. I fixed up an S-10. if the trans wouldn't have blown on me and the ball joints been shot it woulda been a good deal.. as it was, I got out what I put into it after a year. not bad.

As for that P5, I wouldn't touch it.

Hmm, upon closer inspection the other guys are right. I wouldn't pay that much for that. It's a lot to repair.
