Safety Data for Mazda5

I think I recall that the Insurance institute had not tested the 5 when I looked a while back. Do you guys know how the 5 stacks up in safety in Government, Insurance and Consumer Publication tests?

I currently have a 2005 Pathfinder which got the Insurance institutes top pick in the midsized SUV category. My wife is concerned about getting a safe vehicle to cart the kids around. I am wondering if the Mazda5 can fit the bill as I would love to save on gasoline not to mention that it will be about half as expensive to purchase or lease as my Pathfinder. Those kids are eating into my auto budget. I will be looking at the CX-9 as well, which I understand did very well in tests but will easily be $10K more than a Mazda5.

State Farm's ratings for Mazda5:
http://www.statefarm.com/insurance/auto_insurance/veh_rating/mazda.asp
Liability Rating Index (LRI) -- Index of bodily injury and property damage liability premium: B -- charged somewhat lower-than-standard premium
Damage and Theft Index (DTI) -- Index of collision and comprehensive premium: C -- charged standard premium

The Mazda5 has done well in crash tests done overseas.
EuroNCAP: similar to IIHS but lower height for side impact beam, Mazda5 got 5/5 stars:

JNCAP: JDM Premacy got 6/6 stars (in Japanese):

In order to get an IIHS 'Top Pick' a vehicle has to ace all 3 collision tests and have ESC, the latter is not currently offered in NA.

ya I looked hard too when I was looking, and really only found Euro results. The results were good and I was particularly impressed with the 3rd row vehicle specific standards
