SAFCII Install.. Coming Soon

What did I not reply to?
I might have missed it. I and Dave who did the Emanage talked it over and we do not think this will work, but what do we know?
People did not think the emanage would work either.

Im gonna have a local shop install it. Theyve been putting SAFC's in dsm's for years, and got it to work on a 99 Trans Am that it wasnt supposed to work on. Theyre qualified.

Im sure theyres a trick in making the ECU see the signal and use it properly.
If the emanage works, then so will the AFC2

How will this work though... if you have a Fuel Cut defender installed? Doesn't that affect the MAF?

Hey I'm from the Lou area and new to MSPs. I'd like to get in on the install. Shoot me an email. BTW, who's doing the install/tuning?

The FCD is a boost pressure activated resistor that keeps the MAF from sending too much voltage to the ECU. I'll probably remove it.

hey KY whats up with the SAFC? Any new news or are you still waiting to start?

thx for the bump. Im goin over to the shop thursday and friday to get it wired up. Gonna do it without an o2 mod, and im gonna try to use my FCD as the MAF voltage resistor.

From my sources, I heard that the Apex'i SAFC doesn't work but the Apex'i SAFCII does work. You should be able to have control on your air/fuel plus not stall with a atmospheric BOV. If tuned properly we should also be able to gain 20-25 hp int he higher end as well.
