sad sad day for me....

Another sad key-ing story: Happened to me 3 months after purchasing, but here's the REAL kicker. I was living with a roomate in an apartment with only street parking. ONE WEEK before I was moving into an apartment with my girlfriend AND a 2 car garage, our entire street was keyed!! I reported it to the authorities, but unless someone saw something that night there isn't much they can do for you, but I'd report it anyways because there's always a chance.

Anyways, I had to drive with a scratch along my entire driver side door for almost a month until I could get it painted by a very reputable paint shop which now you can't even tell it was repainted. And the scratch was DEEP too, all the way down to the metal. If you haven't already, I'd put a few coats of wax over the scratch just incase there is a small portion of exposed metal. If you can't buff it out and it requires repainting, atleast that will provide some rust protection until you can have it fixed. I also feel your pain...Good Luck!
