"S" plan pricing the same as invoice?

Hopefully this helps answer your question:

HOW ARE S-PLAN PRICES DEVELOPED?

S-Plan prices represent a substantial discount from MSRP and include any retail incentive if applicable. Under the S-Plan...

* S-plan price is equal to total dealer invoice including transportation fees and any assessment fees; state and/or local.
* The S-Plan price is printed on the factory invoice and is NONNEGOTIABLE. The dealer is required to provide the customer with a true copy of the factory invoice showing the New Vehicle Purchase Plan price.
* The dealership may charge any price negotiated between the dealer and the customer for undercoating, dealer-installed options, extended service contracts and any other items or services that add value to the vehicle.
* The customer is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes, license and title fees.
* From time-to-time Mazda may offer incentives or rebates on its vehicles. Unless specifically excluded by Mazda, (i.e. a Volume Based program), incentives or rebates are available to New Vehicle Purchase Program customers in addition to the Plan price. Ask your dealer for incentive or rebate details.

NOTE: Please be advised that with each Mazda dealership being an independently owned and operated franchise a documentation fee may also be added to the final price of the vehicle.

Also, are you planning on doing S-plan on a MS3? I wasn't able to do it, had to do E-plan.

How would one go about utilizing this "S" plan? I'm sure it's not something the salesperson is ganna bring up if i were to walk in the door.

You'd have to get an S-plan pin from somebody that works for Mazda and has some to spare. Some people say you can haggle lower than S-plan discount, but the S-plan is just so much easier and quicker.

You don't have to be or know an employee of Mazda/Ford to obtain S-plan pricing. You have to be part of the partner group.

www.fordpartner.com

You need a partner code to log in to the site and obtain a pin # which you give to your dealer while purchasing the car.

I got s-plan on my MS3 and I purchased mine in April. S-plan wasn't available back in 2007 to late 2007. But they were available for them in 2008.

They were applying your S plan numbers but no one here was paying close to invoice. Invoice on a speed3 GT would be around 22500.
I know the scam. Speed have never allowed S or any other FORD discounts. The dealer may be applying a small discount confirming your sale but you are no where near S plan pricing. S plan pricing took my CX7 from sticker 28500 to 25k. I dont think anyone here received that large of a discount on their Speeds.
Silver Ecstasy, what was your S plan discount on the CX7?

Bill,

My base price before gap insurance, wheel and tire hazards, etc. etc. was $23,676.

Crystal's CX-7 base price $23,403 once again before all the extras.

(dunno)

There are still small charges, like typically a pearl paint fee, doc fees, yata yata. Either way, it's better than a GT costing $25k before tax and extras.

While shopping for my Speed3 I went to 2 different dealers and they both gave me the exact price after mentioning S-plan. At the dealer I bought the car from he showed me the paperwork showing the S-plan pricing. Now, there may be a possibility of a big conspiracy and dealers are forging paperwork showing S-plan pricing or there could be the possibility that there is indeed S-plan pricing on the Speed3 which quite a few people have claimed to have received (including me) and the dealer you purchased from lied.

Nobody is going to get as good of a deal on the Speed3 as you did on the CX7 because there is a larger profit margin between invoice and MSRP on a CX7. There is more room to discount on that vehicle.

According to Edmunds the MSRP on a GT (including dest. charge) is $24,805, invoice (including dest. charge) is $23,240.
