rx8 lsd and gearbox

What are the lsd types available in the rx8. are there alternate ones in different models. this has a 4.44 ratio?

also what is the gearbox. I believe it's an aisin in the r3. not sure what it was prior. did it change significantly. both auto and manual if you know.

Not an expert, but heres what I know.

Ill start with the transmission:
For autos, there is a big difference between pre 05 and 06 and above (with the newer ones being much stronger.

For the manuals the S1 (04-08) gearboxes are all the same, and the S2 (09+) are also the same. The main difference between S1 and S2 is the S2 gear boxes are said to be a bit stronger and the final drive is a little lower. I have driven both (including the R3) and I didn't notice much difference.

I don't think the LSD has changed at all throughout both series.

pure curiosity about the gearbox. just from memory i read that both the auto and manual changed brands?

I"m actually looking for a dif for my car thats second-hand and not have too source from overseas. wait 3 months for...
I'm not very keen on using a ford/toyota dif and would rather keep it mazda. rx8 is the newest and I'm more likely too find one over a fd or cosmo dif.
not sure it will fit even. but its the one i want too go for even if engineering is required.

need too know ratio's, i saw 4.44 but unsure if thats for all of them.
type of lsd it is. whether its's viscus, helical or clutch type lsd.

so the r3 its pushbutton start rite? whats the button look like.
