if I remeber, this wasnt an out of the box greddy kit, it was another kit on the market, or someothing custom.

Im sure the LOW 1/4 mile time was due to traction/launch issues, since it can be hard work to launch this car right and now break it.

almost 400 crank HP (about 320whp) in a 3100lb car should get you into the 12's and trapping 110 easy. If you could get it to hook.

Aint the easiest car to launch and aint the easiest car to do smooth high RPM shifts when you're beating it but that's the nice thing about this car, it makes you work.

How the hell do you have RWD and run a 13.5 @ 109?

A lot of these power numbers and figures of the 8 are just a big disappointment really.

I agree, 13.9 in a 400 crank hp turbo rx-8......really bad driving or car was running like crap.

Probably some old fart driving it... He didn't realize you need to rev to a bajillion RPMs to get it to move.

the fastest launch in a rx8 is clutch dump at redline.

STOCK the car will run a 14.3@95mph (a few showroom stock cars have run that) thats about right for a 3100lb car (+driver and fuel) with 230 crank hp.

That is already hard enough on the car, now you do the same launch with twice the power and very bad things happen.

The car get terrible wheel hop and has very little low end TQ.....so the launch isnt easy and isnt very good. Resulting in slower times.

A turbo RX8 with around 330whp is VERY fast, once is rolling along, but a dog off the line.
