i think it isnt too bad for a first-timer

well, it wont be done in time for the road rally, but here is a pic i took. i cut templates out of cardboard. this is kind-of what the false floor it will look like.

I've been wanting to do something like that but I dont have the knowledge. Where di you find out how to do it (both fiberglass and false floor)?

no, the way the rx-8 trunk is built is perfect for a setup like this. there is a perfect rectangle shaped cut-out in the floor and the sides have about a cubic foot of free space to work with.

i just did a google search for fiberglass sub enclosures and false amp floors and i got a ton of hits. then it wasa matter of taking the time to read them and understand how fiberglass works. it isnt as hard as i thought it would be to work with, its just very slow and tedious work. its fun though.

Hey protejay5 you dont by chance live in West Allis or were on Hwy. 100 today were you. I was driving next to a very clean black RX8, wasnt you was it? I was in a Lazer Blue P5, all dirty!!!!!!!!!!!!
