Rush's MSP -- Summer Photoshoot. (56K = Death!)

is the small white bld an old outhouse?
Already answered .. ;)

edit: is that last pic next to an outhouse?

But if you're talkin' about the white building that has the 'IN' written on it .. I'm honestly not sure WHAT that is. That shot, and the one by the red barn, were actually taken at the entrance of a small local park -- I think it's basically former farmland. I think it was some kind of old narrow farm building (it's long but thin, you can't see that in the pic) that they put a sign on to indicate the park's entrance.

It is?! s***, good thing I didn't postpone the photoshoot till later this afternoon -- cause if it's raining up there, that means it'll be raining here in a few hours.

~ 90 minutes!

Very nice pics! Good idea on not pissing off the farmers..they're not as nice as all the amish around there!

Very nice!!! Gorgeous, obviously well-loved MSP. I want taillights like yours. Those look cool: stock look but tinted. Where'd you get them? I also totally dig your hood. Question though: do you have to worry about water getting into your engine compartment when it rains? I've been wanting a hood with vents for some time now. Also, and I know this is totally a girl thing, but I like the turbo sign where the original Protege plague was. Cool little touch. Nice car!!!

^^^There are some male MSP owners with the turbo badge FYI, not sure why you think it's a girl thing. I was contemplating it once I get a turbo kit.

Where did u get the hood?

Xcelerated concepts my friend. Reverse cowel...
Actually, mine is one of the originals that was produced by Gemini Composites. But yep, Xcelerated Concepts owns the mold to the hood now and I believe they're making them.

I bought the tails that way, already tinted, by total dumb luck. They're stock tails, but with tinted overlays from a company called Rockblocker. The overlays are a b**** to install and I actually ordered a set to do myself -- and wound up completely ruining them. But then someone on the forums put up a set for sale -- of stock tails with the overlays already installed by Rockblocker themselves, and I jumped right on 'em! As far as the hood goes, I have a vent cover that I pop on under the hood for whenever it rains .. though truth be told, I only use it when it's a total downpour.

You and that damn picture, I never should've let you take it, LOL. ;) B and I were out hiking on Mount Gretna when that storm rolled in -- we sprinted back to the car at full speed and BARELY got into it before the rain went friggin' crazy.

Rush , i thought you lowered the volume of pic ??

You don't need to keep them at original volume/size (MB/KB) since your not printing them just posting online , for easy upload lower the pic's size and you could do that w/o destroying pic's quality.

Damn my wireless connection keeps breaking down every time I refresh the page to see the pics, connection is 11MBPS so its not slow one.

.. Huh?

These are nowhere near the original file sizes of the images, trust me. I resized them so that each pic would take up most of the screen.

wow!!! amazing pictures! you did a really great job on those!

(and the pic size are just fine! ...well it helps with a fast connection/computer and 22" widescreen (naughty))

Keep that MSP lookin' ever so sharp!!!

well finally got to see them , not that i haven't seen the car before but i was curious how the country side looked like :)

I've been in PENN State before and I have a clue how beautiful PA is around there.

I see you keep the car in mint condition , honestly I'd have no problem leaving my car in your good care :) , what's your secret on keeping it so mint ?? lol
deff. need a car wash since i got back from Toronto last week

Glad the pics finally loaded for you!

And to be honest, the car isn't completely mint. I have rock chips in the front bumper and even a few in the hood that just don't show up in pics because they're small .. but they're there. Some of my wheels also have mild damage -- the finish is peeling off one thanks to a rock chip I got years ago, when I was living by the ocean, and the salt air got under it and just started eating away. And I also have a small dent above my passenger side rear wheel well, thanks to someone opening their door into the side of my car in a parking lot. But that's the life of a daily driver .. I've owned my MSP for five years now, bought it with 4 miles on the odometer. It's seen way-too-hot summers and nasty-snow winters, rural areas and cities, everything. But I do my best to try to keep it looking nice!

Very cool, I'll have to look them up.
One more question: what kind of rims are those?
