Running a MSP ecu on MP3

anyone with vtcs wanna do me a favor? take off the plug and turn the igntion on but dont start the car, and then use a test light and see if one side is hot? this will confirm my theory

after switching ecus and such i just went ahead and swapped out harness. took bout 4hrs to do.

seems like too much of a pain though, im thinking just shoving a wire in there isnt making a good enough connection... ill have to figure out a better way to make the connection

is not that bad. did the swap today. i have had the harness for a year. but that threads explains how to connect everything. it works i think its like 22gauge wire.

ya i just cant see taking the time/ money to buy and swap a harness...i mean all that trouble for one wire... i dont think it will be too hard to make this work...i have a solenoid on the way, and ill just tap into one of those two wires listed for the power, and figure someway to make a good connection on the pin

nope....cut the shielding off and doubled it up and shoved it in...worked fine
