Also, I would much prefer going to an Acura dealer for anything than a VW dealer... I think they're neck and neck with Mazda for worst service dept.'s.

What vw dealership are you guys going to? the one down here is going to install my boss' apr stage III for him. Hes had the stage II for awhile and never even hesitate to do warranty work for him

Really? Do you think the interior of the MSP is better? Just curious.

The deal with the VW was I was disappointed based on expectations. My wife has a Jetta III and 3 people in my family have late model Passat's. I guess I was expecting too much from the Golf. It just seemed no different than any normal economy car of today. No better than the MSP for sure.

I have never sat in a seat as comfortable as the speed's. It fits me better than my office chair. Plus, it's breathable and doesn't stick to my clothes. The 03.5 doesn't have the same fabric and isn't as comfy but, only because of the fabric.

In what way? Seriously, I'm just stunned when I hear people not like the VW interiors. I have a 2003 Jetta in addition to my 2002.5 P5, and the Jetta interior is so much better in every conceivable way. Maybe it's just me, but in every car review they always mention that VW interiors are so much better than anything else in their class. I guess it's all a matter of taste in the end.

IMO, they seem real boring and bland, everything is the same color.

one thing though .. either my girlfriends car is a lemon cus shes had so many problems w/ it and its a 2002 model or the car is really like that .. do some research ..

my friend's 2002 gti has been in the shop 8 times for random electrical problems. his car kept going into limp mode. and at times it wouldn't even start properly.
not to mention his dealership f'ed up his order, forgot the leather (had to get it done after-market).
last time he shows up to tell the service people he wasn't gonna bring the car back to them anymore, that he was gonna go to another dealership.. so he pulls out and goes maybe 50 feet before the car dies again.. so he turns around and leaves it in for servicing. he still doesn't have it back. he wrote to vw canada, 1 week still no reply.
I think overall VW's are good cars. i mean, my dealership is as bad as his, so that doesn't mean much. as for the problems he's having, maybe the 2k2 was a bad batch?

I really like what Acura did with the RSX Type S interior. Clean and Mean! It shows quality, and it is quality.
