I don't really plan on doing many mods yet... mostly cause me and my wife BOTH got new cars, in addition to the fact that we are BOTH military (enlisted). fist on the chopping block is pickup a radar detector, or I'm gonna be more broke... this car likes to move :D. Then I really want to get a factory spoiler as I like the way it looks. Then maybe an intake, but those look like they are 4 months - 1+ years out... I got alot of studying for the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) exam to do.

Yeah, I know... I'm a computer nerd, but it doesn't exclude me from falling in love with the rotary :D

ya, right! good luck with the car, and when you do get around to lowering it, and getting new wheels, exhaust etc....post up those pics!! thanks for you and your wifes service by the way!!

altspace, that blue one does look pretty sweet. to be honest, the lack of a spoiler has grown on me quite a bit you mentioned it...

bazooka joe, I'm broke like whoa... plus I gotta be careful about what I do, if it puts my car outta commission for longer than a weekend, its outta the question. Then again, I have access to lifts and tons of tools for damn near free, as almost all military posts have an auto hobby shop on em.

To be honest, I am interested in exhaust, but at the same time, I hate those 'bumble bee' exhaust systems that everyone has on their honda here in san antonio, so I have to find a nice one, with a good tone and all that. as for right now, I wont be able to afford much for atleast 6 months... unless its a dirtcheap mod or something like the break light one.

now heres a question: how hard is it to wire up the factory fog lamps? anyone done this? cause im interested in picking some up

The advantage to being a computer nerd is that it pays the bills so you can have more fun w/ the car :p

Glad you like the new ride man

my guess on the fogs is it's kinda "plug and play" you'll need the switch the lights of course and my thinking is the wires are probably already in place...the rotary guys will know for shua!

hmmm... I just noticed lowering springs are significantly less than I thought they would be...

Altspace, those Tein springs, did you need to get anything other than the springs, or is the drop not significant enough to make a difference in the alignment?

The Tein S-Tech springs is by far the best choice with OEM struts. No matter what suspension mod you do, it's advisable to get an alignment after. However, I did not for quite awhile as I felt the car ran fairly straight with the moderate drop from the springs.

haha..(lol2)..i told you!!! once you start there's no end in sight! but seriously, a dropped rx8 with a nice exhaust...wow!
