Rota Wheels

Well just got my rota svn's 17x7.5 offset 45 in full royal sports bronze

Will try to post pics of them not mounted on car yet waiting a few more weeks for winter to be over. By the way got them form wheeldude.com

Great service will definitely buy from them again Zoeb was very helpful.(thumb)

Nice! FRSB ftw!

The problem with Rota and a few other of the knockoff brands isn't product quality. They make pretty good products, but they are copies of someone's design. The reason original wheels cost more is the design process costs money. Many manufacturers also forge their wheels instead of casting them. Sure Rota is an affordable alternative, but who will design wheels when the knockoff companies have run everyone else outta business?

Anyways, back on topic, sorry for the OT.

I agree 100% But I plan on getting some advan RGII in the near future. I will use my rotas as dailys and the advans for summer. This way I support both lol. Don't get me wrong I love rotas they were there for me when I couldn't afford the Works but after a while you want the real thing :) kind of like jacking off vs getting laid ones nice the others better lol. Ok maybe I went too far with that one my bad if that offended anyone.

Thanks Eric. As for the cosmic blue statement, dawg do with what you got. I honestly have NOT seen that many CB speed3 around me, and if I had gone with that color I would make the best of it. You could go with a bronze theme, a black theme, whatever floats your boat, but in the end all that matters to you is what looks best for you. Just be different dawg, but make it look good ;)

Yea that's cool thanks j asian85 Im liking that lower section on your front [ splitter, canard, Downforce thing?] sorry. May I know who manufactured and who stocks. It might be alright on cosmicblu if you don't mind.

yes i have 18*8 with stock tires there streched a bit but nothing too crazy...I wanna get some bigger tires but didnt wanna just leave my stocker to rot so im wearing out to buy some new ones..no rubbing what so ever any were also breaks clear with out a problem..dono about a big break kit since im not going that rout i didnt plan for that...I got these from subby dude and they were the only ones he had that fit our cars....

I'm a newb, just want to ask the pros out there, does it matter if if the 18*8 with a lower offset like 35 be ok on the ms3....much thankx for any suggestion or info

I don't think they are going to run them outta business. Hopefully these companies like O.Z. that rip you off will realize you can't charge that much for a rim and bring their prices down. I'm sure they make a ridiculous profit on every wheel they sell. No way their business fails.

I was looking at those last week too until i noticed that the nice one u see pics of online is the wider 9.5" one that allows the spokes to have a nice bow to them making the lip look nice...try lookin up the 8 incher before you buy...looks like a total different rim when its a completely straight wheel

you're right. and i'm sad.

Dude im with you but you are fighting a losing battle here lol...so just give up like i did lol...some people by pumas and nikes from foot locker and others shop at payless...thas they way you gotta see it i guess.

some people just keep on goin and goin like the energizer bunny....I guess you're better at it. (headshake

you echoed what I said pages ago. I agree with you on that.

been rockin' rotas for 6 years on different cars. There will always be the haters, just ignore them. Most of the haters are the types that are proud to spend $5k on a set of rims, but never seem ro really drive the car with them on. They are the people that somehow think spending enormous amounts of money on cheap cars is smart.

Guess what rota haters...most of you drive $10k-$30k cars, nobody else but you and your silly group of friends even care about what you are driving.

oh and Rota's rock. I have never bent one, never had trouble with balancing, nothing. One of my tarmac3's started chipping for no reason, but it was replaced free of charge and the new one never had a problem.

I had a set of fliks on my VW. Same thing. People would say I had nice wheels and then see the name on them. I didn't care. I could bounce one off all kinds of s*** and not feel too bad about it. $100 and I had a new wheel. They were strong and fairly light. I think my 18 weighed 22lbs.

I got the P1's mounted. Definitely stretching the OEM tires a bit on a 1/2" wider wheel. When those wear out, I'll go wider. Pics coming soon.

New pics....
