Silver P5. I'm thinking either flat gun metal, or black. The car will ride at OE height after fitment, hopefully slightly dropped with an Eibach prokit in the near future.

Anyone have any pics of Slipstreams on a silver P5? That would be nice.... :)

FYI: These are 16"x7" +45mm offset, 13.5 lbs wheels.

I opted to shoot some clear on these (the flat just didn't cut it.) 6 coats of clear, wet sanded and rubbed. 2 coats of wax as well. :D

Nice nice. I still think 16's are definitely big enough for the Protege. Even with 17's the brakes look too tiny!
Looks good ... didn't like the flat black though?

I see you have spline drive and wheel locks ... paranoid much? ;)

mmmmmmmm how much are those I have to pick those up for a summer wheel/tire setup. Where do you get those? Anyone got any hook ups?

Rowan - Agreed. 16's are plenty big.. 17's are nice, but not a must on these cars.

The metallic came alive when I got them cleared. I originally thought the clear would just be an added protection factor.. they ended up much, much nicer than I envisioned. Very happy!

Yes, paranoid much! :D I work too damn hard for my money...

Mx3ownzj00 - Thanks man.

BlackMSP - Wheels $450 shipped from MachIII.net http://www.machiii.net/machiii/html/wheels/Rota_Slipstream2.html

Tires ~ $360 shipped from TireRack www.tirerack.com

Lugnuts ~ $100 shipped from Summit Racing www.summitracing.com

Thanks all. Any questions, just let me know. :)

i voted steel grey w/ a polished lip but i'd get some polished steel greys from machii.net my friend put some on his teg and they look soo nice. almost like billet aluminum.

i want steel grey w/ a polished lip soo bad myself...

ha ha... I went thru this same decision a few months back with my other car...

if you're gonna go with a dark colored rim (i.e. gun metal) you've gotta go with teh polished lip...

However, I wish you teh best of luck actualy LOCATING a set of Rotas with the polished lip...

see that's why I like the poished lip on a dark wheel... You actually have to lookclosely to see that those two cars aren't just running with no hubcaps.

Wheels are like jewelery.... It's all a matter of personaly prefeence. What do *YOU* like?

Those wheel look too much like stock steelies. That's why I was thinking more along the lines of the poliched lip ones.
