i like the P1 myself i think a fatty 5 spoke doesn't have enough style... how much money you want to spend on tires? you autox or drag race?

I look at the slipstreams like a JDM civic kinda thing.. but, thats like a 5 year old impression, and nothing more. for a good all-around tire (minus snow) I'm all about the G-force T/A KDW.

well i was going for the rota Gforces, but they are back ordered...
my fall back are the P1s and the slips are just wheel i want to get
some day just to have.

as for tires, i do about 85% highway driving and about 300+ miles a week
so i need some nice tires,

Wagonbacker9; i agree, but i still love those wheels. as for the tires i will look into those thanks

tsunami; thats how i felt at first but after seeing so many 3s that had them i grew into them. as for how much im willing to spend on tires, its really more about how much i can get them for :) i dont autox or drag i just drive a lot and occupationally grip a few turns at XX speeds :p

chrissor; now if it were that easy... the thread has just began!

i am very happy with my good year eagle f1's not sure how they are going to hold up milleage wise but from the kumho mx i ran previously they are a lot quieter, hold the road much better, at the limit you can sense the nice gradual break away, and so far the milleage seems to be better then the kumhos even though they were rated a tad softer.... the kumho for the money was a great tire (the good years are 2x the price)

looks like all rota are on backorder, until they get new shipment from the Philippines

sucks guess ill have to wait unless i look into other avenues.
tenzo has some nice wheels but i have my eyes set on the Gforce right now.
guess ill get some springs first!

Don't know if you bought your tires yet, but...

I've been EXTREMELY pleased with my Yokohama S-drives I got from Tire Rack. They grip VERY well on wet pavement as well as dry. They are much, much quieter than my Goodyear Assurance all-season's that I use as winter tires. I get even better gas mileage (2-3 mpg!) than before with the S-drives. They were the #2 tire in Tire Rack's testing and #1 in consumer reviews on the Tire Rack site. It was also highly rated on wear too. I think one review mentioned that they were tested on a drift car on a few laps around a drift track and didn't even show any wear!

I, like you, have a long commute (500 miles a week) that results in the majority of the miles being highway miles and was looking for a tire that handled great in wet and dry conditions, had good wear characteristics, was reasonably priced, and was quiet. This was the tire I chose and I've been VERY satisfied with my choice. Just my $0.02...
