Those look really nice but I would have gone with at LEAST a 40-series tire. That's a smaller-than-stock diameter. I ran 215/45-17s on my Protege.

thats the stock MSP size... the racing harts fit a P5 just fine.. but with a lower offset that may contact the lower spring perch.. a 40 series should fit though.

fixed

a 35 offset should be far enough away from the spring perch... fenders may be an issue though

As far as the diameter I've got 205/40/17's 7" Kyowa KR 206's now and there's about an inch between the rear inner edge and the spring, the Rota's are 8" width and go 6mm deeper on the inner and 20mm farther on the outside, the reason I went with 35 tire height is because the car is lowered on Eibachs and Tokico's. I'm most worried that the fronts might rub at full turn and more stress on the bearings. Any advice, cause I'm not putting these on til spring? thanks

ur lowered on eibachs and u got a 35? thats going to look wierd with such a small tire on there
well actually they dont look that small in the pictures, they look sick though man
be sure to post up pics when u get them on

Well it's down, what about 1.2" frt1.5" rear, or maybe vice versa.Unfortunately I can't make it any lower, but its better than stock. The 35's should leave a gap but they probably wont rub, 40's or 45's might rub on turns since 8" width with 215's are gonna be right under the lip.I've got a pretty big project goin on with the car, body and undercarriage painting, microtech install, stoptechs and Hawk pads all around, gotta dump the old brake fluid. i can't do much now cause it's 15 deg. in the daytime where I'm at and my garage aint heated, so I'm hoping to have the new wheels on by April for some pictures with the paint done.
