'02 Red P5...BUT AS OF 1/31/08 an '08 Silver SPEED3!!!
I had my red beast in there for repairs from an accident. It took them 4 DAYS to get the parts in and replace them all. Then I just had to wait for the body shop, which took longer (weather). Four days! Amazing! I had my left side suspension replaced.

Carmen, my service mgr, called me periodically with updates, and made sure AFTER I picked up my car that everything was working okay. I gave them a near-perfect score last time, and did so again this time. I even had a bearing that had gone bad, and they replaced it under warranty. It was due to the accident but, rather than call my insu company and try to duke it out with them, they just replaced it...for free!

They also told me to come by and they would reseat my windshield when it gets warmer because I am getting some wind noise.

I wholeheartedly recommend Arlington Rosenthal, and specifically Carmen, if you are having ANY service done there. Mazda corporate is also getting a friendly letter.

Dang, they are good.

do they have rotary specialists down at rosenthal arlington??

I need them to help me pass emissions for my RX-7

and it is just down the street from my apartment. :)

see i said it before they are great......when i went in for my first oil change....my salesman paid for my lunch at ballston and a movie :) soo cool........im sorry to say i hate fairfax i really do....

dang, sounds like they'd almost be worth the 40 minute drive down there :)

how is their sales department? apparently they have a few yellow speeds left

Thats were I bought my car. Service Dept is very easy to work with. I got a website for my car that the dealer puts all my service info on there. Is this a mazda thing or is this a dealership thing?

Arlington Mazda is a Rosenthal location.

I've had no good experiences with Rosenthal, ever. I actually had a pretty good (nice, not too pushy) sales guy at Arlington Mazda once, but when we went to talk to the manager about the car, he spent the whole time playing numbers games with us. Fortunately, my wife can keep up with those games and called "bulls***" on him! The longer we sat there, the worse the deal actually got! It was really sad.

Just a word of warning about Rosenthief's sales departments. I've actually heard really good stuff about their service dept. in Tysons, so who knows?

are you thinking about trading for a Speed?? (naughty)

btw- anyone that comes down to Rosenthal can call me and i'll meet 'em for lunch. :)

Rosenthal is awesome. The have replaced 2 windshields for me, did my flash, fixed my alarm. I could go on and on about how much I love that place. I bought my car at Brown's Alexandria/Fairfax and had such a horrible experience with them, I never went back.

1st one was a stress crack, 2nd one was a small (and I mean teeny tiny) rock chip that cracked over night. Rosenthal rocks!

so the concensus is rosethal sales dept blow, but their service dept is good?
It would seem so. I have never met a sales dept that I liked, period. In my life.

But it would seem that the service there is uniformly good. The service mgr, I believe his name is Bill, is a pretty nice guy, although I have had only limited dealings w/him.

Both Willy and Carmen (service team leaders) are friendly and helpful guys. I can speak nothing of the salespeople.

I am glad that others have had good experiences with the service dept. One of the techs (who I will not name) admitted that the 6 had some problems out of the factory, and that perhaps Mazda should have slowed production until fixing the glitches. He knew about all the TSB's for the mazda, and ASKED me if I had come in for the cold engine rattle (which I did a long time ago).

I am not sure about a rotary tech expert, I have not spoken to any of the guys that drive a rotary there. Give 'em a call.
703-527-3000 and ask for the service dept.

Just be friendly with them, dont be a know-it-all dick, and you will get the same back.

well the first time i went there to buy my car i talked with Floyed "Spence" he was great let me drive the 6...me being only 16 at the time so yeah lol.....to bad i couldnt afford it...and i had my eyes set on the p5 and he knew that.....went to the lot....went back to talk about numbers....manager came in(not to be racist but he was like middle eastern) COMPLETE ASS!!! tried to literally rip me off saying the price range i was asking for was for a USED car so w/e i got really mad....and i said i would come back to talk to spencer at a later time....he called and apologized to my mom and myself....talked to another manager....went back that weekend talked with the other manager.....they made the other one come out and say he was sorry for the way he acted.....the look on his face was great :)!!!!....i bought my car and had the best time ever and then finally drove my car home where i stalled once while i played around with my dashboard and felt stupid lol....all in all i love it....the service dept is great tooo...........next time i go ill have lunch with lisa!!!

just made an appointment w/ Brian at the service dept to have the car dropped off Tuesday night so they can look at it Wed morning
