No, actually it didn't.

He was burning out in second gear when one wheel caught more than the other... watch carefully. If I haven't explained it right there are plenty of people who have. This jackass was on the MR-2 board and never said anything about his steering wheel coming off... and if I remember correctly the Jetta owners s/n on VWvortex is 1SOLIDTDI
