roof rack on Mazda3 2004 vs Mazda3 2006

Hi everyone,

I have a mazda3 2006 GT wich have standard hole to put the OEM mazda roof rack.

My friend have a Mazda3 2004 GS, but doenst have the hole.

Anyone have informations on that?

Both are Canadian Models. As far as I know, Protege5 canadian have the generic hole for the rook rack while the US version have a different rack style.
