Sorry to ask such dumb questions but what EXACTLY is rolling the fenders... my tires barrrrely rub in the back so are my rear fenders in need of immediate rolling?? :-) yall think its a good idea... bad idea... lemme know

Rolling a Fender (usally) involves taking it off, and bending/cutting back a lip or two which runs around the inside of the fender. You usally have to roll the fender for clearence reasons. I have done this on the front fender where the door meets the fender. As far your tires/wheels rubbing I can't give advice on that.

back in the day the honda boyz used to roll their fenders with a baseball bat. not quite sure how but thats what they used

it's a good idea if it's done correctly. if it's not, you'll crack the paint and have uneven fenders. i was going to do it on the rears when i get 215/45/16's

i dunno the details of it, but im rubbing a touch also with my 42 offset so im gonna need ot shave em or roll em

A few high end shops out here use a device that attaches to the wheel hub, then it uses light preasure to push in the inner fenders with out cracking the paint. Then they use some kind of sealant to line the inner fenders. Cost about $400 for two fenders.

Dont spend no money on this litle job here, it is so simple listen up. Here we go.... get you and a bud(to sit in the car while you roll the fender), have a baseball bat or a piece of dow rod or even a broomstick to insert into the fender well. While doing this have your friend put the car into gear. Place the item of choice at the appropriate angle needed to bend that little flap back and have your bud drive forward very slowly. Once that is done repeat with the opposite direction. Then again with the opposite tire, and wa la. Thats it, I rolled mine and it took about 10 minutes. I have 215/35/18's with a 1.3 in drop and 48 offset. I needed the roll bad. Hope this helps ya out.

pics?...

i rolled my fenders with a freakin socket wrench man, dont go spend money on this crap it takes 2 mins...do what red-one said get a bat or a thick wrench taht wont break and get someone to hold it while someone puts the car in gear and go slowly..someone said something about a shop doing this for 400 dollars, holy ripoff...they proly use a baseball bat also and tell you they use a maching and rip you off...and i never chipped the paint either

My friend did his honda with a bat and a floor jack. A nother thing you could do is sand down the lip. It is a double lip so sanding it will stop the rubbing.

I remember seeing on some website that it was $50 a fender. They were saying that it was a pretty easy job. Just get an estimate from a body shop.
