I need to know how to drain my fuel system and see whats the best way to handle this. The company is not helping im alone please any advice to drain and refuel

Do not start the car. Call a tow truck and bring to a shop so they can pump it all out.

we have it at a shop now. the bad thing is i drove about 5 miles before we realized the mistake and now im sitting in their shop on there computer. they are trying to pump it but with no sucess theres less than an eigth tank in there

i never got a check engine light, the car drove fine then stalled like it ran out of gas then i coasted to a stop. there was a little backfire as well, but more of a dying stutter

Hopefully the gas didnt destroy anything like the catylitic convertor or sensors.

yea im wonder whats the best way to go about draining this thing. Only obivious option is on the bottom of the tank it says "Pirece here to drain" im was like hell no. so now back to square one.

You need to document everything and send the bill to the roadside company. What a bunch of bumbling morons. (headshake

i'm no expert but you may want to get a lawyer thats some serious negligence on the operator's part...

ok guys heres the verdict from the mazda dealership in north georgia, they said that 3-4 gallons of diesle will not harm the car at all will how ever throw alot of codes and may burn up the o2 senors how ever the best way to solve the problem is to dilute the diesle with high test fuel and continue to do so until the diesle burns completely out? sounds alittle fishy to me any ideas from the comunity. this morning i though i would never see my lowered 6 on a full size transfer truck and it happened now im trying to dilute gas what next?

Well we drained the entire tank, add bottle of injector cleaner and fill with 93 octane and can not get it to fire over. The fuel pump is firing over and black smoke is coming from rear pipes but no fire???? any ideas guys

you can use the fuel pump to drain out the fuel by removing fuel line and powering up the pump so it will pump out all the fuel. then u need to change the fuel filter and reconnect the fuel lines and start it up and let it run. I have done this a few times. also remove spark plugs thay maybe fouled out by fuel.

where is the fuel filter on this car? I looked high and low yesterday and couldnt find one and tryed to order one from napa and the didnt list one

The filter is built into the fuel pump. The filter is non changable and if you wanted you would have to replace the entire fuel pump assembly. To get to the fuel pump, remove rear seat bottom. There will be a cutout in the floor with a panel. Remove panel and the pump is there.
