Here is an interesting question.... Are there any minimum age requirements for passengers on the parade lap? I'm thinking about going and taking my 10yo son. Want to make sure he could ride the lap also....

There is not and you will be signing a waiver for both of you! Hope to see you there!

Yeah, you're not setting any lap-records during parade laps. If you make it up to 40 MPH you're going fast lol

I am going to hang with the twins and throw meatballs at people, just like Uncle Phen

Here's a shout out and a HUGE thank you to Rick Goolsby at Grand-Am Racing!! He was able to get Road Atlanta to put a Mazda Corral ticket ordering LINK on their website, along with the Corvette and Porscheplatz that always have one anyway. WOOHOO!! My point of that, besides feeling left out, was that people who drive Mazdas (aka Meeps) but aren't on any of the forums that WE are on, will now be able to find us and join us!! YAY!! Thanks, Rick for helping us spread the word!!

So now, you don't need to call, you can order on line at: http://www.roadatlanta.com/ev_ga_tix-mazda.lasso

See YOU at the races!!! it's only 5 weeks away!!

Hurray!

I will be there; will convince everyone I can as well, should be awesome.

Between that and The Mitty the weekend after.... going to be one hell of a long work week between the two weekends!

I know we are debating on how to handle the back to back weekends. Thanks for getting the word out, we should have a good turnout, hopefully we can find 10 owners who want to camp and we can get an exclusive Mazda only campsite

I had received my tickets and parking pass but nothing indicates where the Corral parking area is when I get there. Not seeing it on the Road Atlanta website either. Any info on this yet or will we be directed at the entrance? I'll be bringing a tent, cooler and sleeping bags if my son decides he wants to camp out and we get a designated area.

It's pretty much always on the hill between the Suzuki (Turn 11) bridge and Vendor Row. Come in the main gate, go down the hill then up the hill, turn left before the turn 10 grandstands to cross the bridge, then it'll be down on the left.

I think we're going to brave the weather on Friday for a time to at least set up my buddy's and my canopies on Spectator Hill. I'll probably be there all day Saturday, with the wife & kids coming in time to watch the Rolex race. At least, that's the plan... we'll see how it pans out. When you're dealing with in-laws and toddlers, plans don't usually survive.

Thanks to all who came out! As always, it was great to make new friends/fans and fantastic to hang with old friends.

We raised over $300 for the Semper Fi Fund.

my favorite picture from Friday ... the deluge. Marlon was at I-MOTO and wanted me to come over with the camera. I was at Freedom and thought to use my telephoto lens and stay dry. : )

new ss brake lines installed by the I-MOTO pros

Marlon coming over to say Hi

Rockin' our MOCO logo

Marlon conversing with Pierre Kleinubing

taking it for a test drive to make sure the brakes work : ) (notice the MOCO logo through the window)

our Friday corral attendees waiting for our parade laps

not sure HOW we all got split up by a couple of vans from Microsoft. Don't you think they could/should have let them go last?

thanks to Freedom Autosport for the use of their canopy

my sister, Marley and Marlon talking to our buddy Bob

we got to grid the race

and look who I found? one of two standing still long enough for a picture
