+48mm or above and a 7 inch width. im unsure if 7.5 will work or not. but you will rub anyways with 7, not very much, but you will. slammedp5 has 19x7 rims, contact him for some info.

Ok I have hydraulics on my car and I was looking at buying a 17x7.5 with a 50 mm offset. I have 205/40's will it be much difference as apposed to my mp3 wheels??? Thanx

Hey. I wanna get some REV model II 17x7.0 42mm offset. Going to have some kind of drop in the future too... be it an eibach prokit, or teins. I'm pretty sure this isn't going to work, correct? If it will, I wanna order these wheels ASAP. http://store.yahoo.com/speedandstyle/revmodeli.html - 4th wheel down. I know the 18x7.5 work because ghost has them on his car... however I would like 17s for a better ride and no rubbing issues after the drop. Thanks.

Hey Laser, those wheels COULD work, the deciding factor is the size TIRES you put on them. IF You put a 205/40/17 on they...they will fit...BARELY....if you want to put a 215/40/17 on they....they will rub, you will need at least a +45 to go with 215's.

you can find this very information in the very first post of this thread....

Oh great and powerful Maja Rishie, an autocross 15" wheel question: I solo II in my '02 DX (4 lug), lowered with MP3 (Racing Beat actually) springs, on 15x6 Miata alloys with a 205/50-15 Azenis. I want to go to 15x7 wheels, lightweight of course. Seems like most of them are +38 offset, take it or leave it. Will I rub my fenders? The car is often loaded down pretty good, but I do have street wheels/tires.

most likely yes, you will rub. 40 mm is the maximum in 17x 7/7.5 for the 4 lug, but i'm not sure about 15. although smaller rim, it is still a 7 inch wide wheel and with the tire, the diameter of the whole wheel/tire is SUPPOSED to be close to stock diameter.

The 4 luggers don't have the spacing issues the 5 lugs do. The 4 lug guys can follow conventional honda fitments. You lucky son of a guns. In other words, you have nothing to worry about. Esp with 15" as your tire width will most likely be a 205/50.

Laters, Rishie

will the centerline rpm 42 mm offset work for the msp? or do i have to special order the 50 mm offset?

42 wont fit, but you dont need 50mm. depending on the width of the rims, 45mm-48mm can be ok.

For sedans a +42 will work on 7" width. What diameter and width. Please keep in mind that offset questions mean nothing without knowing the width of the wheel.

Thanks, Rishie

I just bought some BBS RX for a good price. Size is 17x7.5 with a +45 Offset.
My car is lowered with tein springs. What tire size do you reccoment.

?

I have an 02 p5 w/ eibach prokit. Will a 17x7 with 225/45/17 work... or do I need to go w/ 215/45/17 what's the offset I need +45 or +48?????

Thanks
Matt
