Rishie........

Damn Perfect Nuke. Check that out, resourcefullness. lol. Amazing thing the internet is. This is exactly what I would have said verbatim. Pros and Cons. Now check this out. I've got that roller and will still not do it. You really have to heat that paint up and considering the lip under the fender is so miniscule it's going to be a very abrupt roll. I would definitely advise against it. Body shops I've spoken to as well say that they don't want to touch it cause they will be liable for paint cracking.

Now back to the subject of the post:

Holy Shiznit. I feel so special. lol. Guys I really do appreciate your graciousness. I had no idea that this post was even here. I've been very busy trying to get stuff done, manufactured, and so forth for our cars. As well as getting a darn website up to make things better for everyone.

I have been getting overwhelmed with the responsibilities and haven't been able to keep track of PM's and so forth. I keep Sean pretty damn busy at the shop and don't even know if he checks the board much.

Autoexe: Will be making a post very soon once I've negotiated better pricing, shipping, and duties. You see, I'm having a real hard time arriving at a price that would be reasonable to purchase these parts. Honestly there isn't one unless I can negotiate a better deal. That may not mean going direct anymore. That may mean I must find a very good dealer of theirs in Japan from whom we can purchase this stuff from in volume and receive that better price.

I've greatly relied on gentlemen like Sir Nuke, rjakobs, kooldino, and several others who have studied and memorized the fitment recipe, to spread the word or direct people to it. They've been fabulous and all of that without me asking. They, like myself, just want to save you guys from fatal mistakes. I'm so sorry there isn't more of me to go around but with the website and additional locations as well as Representatives spread out across the US we will be able to get this accurate information and great product to more people. I've been a very very busy man. Since you guys have my attention I'll address another topic:

Rota Battles and SDR wheels. Nuke I'm so sorry but the wheels were not produced. I don't know what happened but it fell thru the cracks cause they needed a deposit on the production and I did not find this out until I went expecting that they would be ready. To make a long story short I completely ironed out all the details and pricing as well will be exclusive on these two styles in this fitment. However this production is gonna cost me about the price of a Protege. So I've placed the order but and going to be taking preorders as all these wheels should be sold by the time they arrive in March. This preorder will require a deposit to ensure your position and priority. NUKE and KOOLDINO were amongst the very first to show interest in this wheel and is actually the primary reason why I decide to invest in this. I said I would and am going to follow thru. just didn't realize I'd have to put up the funds. I will compensate you both for your patience.

Battle will be produced initially 17" only, Steel Gray and Silver.
SDR will be produced in steel gray and bronze.

I will make a post on both boards with pictures and so forth. I took pics of the wheels and finishes while at Rota. I will also setup a separate email account just for these wheels so I can keep it organized.

I am driving down to LA tommorrow for some meetings with manufacturers and will return on Sunday. Upon my return we should have another small handful of wheels that will fit. We've been spreading the word on fitment issues and are really starting to see some results.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PATIENCE GUYS. I KNOW I HAVEN'T BEEN AROUND MUCH LATELY.

oh yea and a little off the topic but will 96 probe gt rims fit my protege? The reason i ask is because i found a bad ass set of rims for a probe gt but they do not say that they will fit on a Protege. Also how much does it cost to get your fenders rolled because i wanna put these rims on my car but they are 18 x 8's

No, probes are 5x100.

Rolling your fenders just basically means you're flaring them out more...wider than they should be.

for those of you who are so desperate to get ahold of Rishie....well yes, he IS busy....he has a business he runs.....but you know what? that business has a PHONE IN THE OFFICE! and guess what else? Rishie has posted the shops phone number right here in this board!!!

go to the FITMENT Recipe thread that is stuck to the very top of the Wheel/Tire forum....and go to the bottom of the very first post....his post...and you will find the shops address AND PHONE NUMBER.....spend the dime....CALL HIM

(stash)

But use the fitment recepie first instead of bothering him.

I'm confident that 18x8's won't fit right.

I hate to be a jackass, but what exactly does rolling your fenders mean? I see people say it all the time and I never knew..How much does this process involve?

Saaaah-weet. March...hmmm...I guess i COULD keep the steelies on until then. :-) But shortly thereafter I'll be in a few shows...and wanna rep with the battles! And you know i'll let people know where I got them!

Anyway, Nuke and I try our best to help people when you're not around, but don't be a stranger. :-) LOL, you *do* bust your @ss tho, i must say (IM simulation to follow)
Kooldino (10PM West coast time): 'sup man?
Kooldino: ya there?
Rishie: Yo! Sorry, busy
Kooldino: word.
Rishie: doing (insert long list of stuff here)
Kooldino:You're still @ work???
Rishie: Yeah. but I'm going home shortly.

Hehe. Ok, i made that all up, but it's pretty close to the truth. Anyway, Rishie, what you need to do is cut that time killer they call "sleep" out of your day. You can sleep when you're dead. :-) hehe.:D

So let me get this straight, we cannot get auto exe stuff until you find a better supplier? I mean if we had the cash could we buy it?

I used the search button but came up empty.

I like the motegi mr7 wheels (Gunmetal)

I do not want anything over 17. 16 would be fine. What offsets do I need to fit on our protege5. Thanks.

Autoexe: That is correct but won't take that long to get. I'm tring to make time to get over to Japan next month before HIN. I will negotiate everything prior, collect money from everyone, go over there and load up a container. I'll be posting next week with regards to Autoexe.

Once negotiated we will all be set and I should have monthly orders coming.

Thanks, Rishie
