what kind of question is this? mods or engagement ring? seriously, if you have to ask then you obviously dont feel that strongly about her. if you want to marry her and are ready for a commitment, then by all means get her a ring. if there is any doubt in your mind, then just wait. if she loves you, she will wait until you are ready for the commitment. besides, what kind of girl starts pressuring her boyfriend to buy her a ring anyway? that seems ridiculous to me. my wife waited 7 years for an engagement ring. im sure your girlfriend can wait a little while longer.

I just bought a ring for my girlfriend in March. If I would of spent the same amount of money on my car, it pretty much would have all of the parts that I wanted for it. BUT......i'm happy with my ring purchase.
