Rims off a mazda 3 on a Protege?

I am going to buy some rims that were stock on an 08 mazda 3 to put on my protege. I know the bolt pattern is the same bit i am not sure of the offset. I believe the offset for the Mazda 3 rims is 54mm. I am not sure about my protege. The only info i could find said around 45mm. Any information would be appreciated.

I believe the offset is 52.5 and other members have run the 3 snowflakes. You are going to want a 205/40 or 205/45 tire and should be able to get away with a 215/40 but a 215/45 will require some rear fender rolling.

Ok, i though they both had 6" wide rims so i could use the same tires. I think the offset for the Mazda 3 was 52.5mm as well. Since they are 15" rims could i not just go with the 195/55/R15?

I use 205-40-17's on my car plus a set of racing beat springs. The tires fill the wheel well nicely

i have rims of mazda 3 on my protege and i am using the same tire on the mazda 3 205/50/17 in front theres no problem but in the rear you need rear fender rolling because the tire stucks with the rear fender or you can change the tire and use the 205/40/17

They fit just fine. No fender rolling or tire changes need.

Yeah, it's that simple. It works.

noob here...what is fender rolling?
i have been seeing this everywhere but i have no idea what it is.

It's when u bend the inch of fender lip up to be flush with the fender so it doesn't rub on the wheel.

They make a special roller that bolts onto ure wheel hub, you then heat the fender up and roll the lip with the tool. Theres youtube vids.

on stock height u shouldnt need to roll your fenders at all with 215/45's and higher then that and you may need to, but those are meaty tires already

any of you guys have any pics of the 3 wheels on your Pro?

OGsp5 --> Do you have any pics of your car with this setup?

I'm running RB springs on all 4 corners, and cut a full coil off the front (just to level out the front and back), so she sits pretty low. I've been looking for some snowflakes or Gen2 MS3 wheels, but want to make sure they fit nicely, and I'd like to get them as flush with the fenders as possible without the need to roll 'em. Winter around here makes it almost a guarantee that you'll have rust problems when you roll the fenders because all sorts of crap gets stuck in there.
