Riding on Bump stops

Does anyone with the Tanabe springs ride on there bump stops. I'd really like to get these soon, but I don't want it to bounce down the road. I'm used to Hondas and they have sooo much more suspension travel. I drop my Civics like 3" with no real issues. I don't want my 6 to be that low though, just enough to hopefully overcome the huge gaps in the fender wells. Or, if I could get a suggestion that would be great. And yes, I've done a LOT of searching on ALL the forums I could find. I think I'll call this one home!

Maybe I should reword my message and ask if anyone rides on bumpstops with a 1.5" - 2.0" drop? I def don't want to. And everyone seems to be happy with their drop.

I find it really hard to believe that no one knows if they're any where close to their bumpstops. Let a guy know how far he can lower it safely. Right now I'm thinking 1.5" - 2.0"

You WILL be on or close enough to the stops to feel them all the time. I have Sportlines and Koni shocks. There was 1/4" of travel left with my stops in so I chopped all but 1/2" off just to have some in case of a bottoming event and I never ride on them now. If I was just tracking or autocrossing the car with no street duty I would remove them all together.

The stock Mazda6 suspension has a little over 2 1/2" of suspension travel at stock ride height. Do the math and you'll see you're dangerously close to the bump stops with that much of a drop.

You CAN cut the stops which will give you more travel, and that's really a necessity with lowering springs.
