thx going with something diff that i havent seen over here. i know that kau something guy had some similar but he is out of state so its okay :) lol

tu sabes. meeting up with my friend with the 370 to figure out hub adapters and size tomorrow and tires. maybe 205/40/17 im guessing.

FOR THOSE WHO READ THIS AND HAVE REBUILT THEIR MOTORS.

whats best to do? complete oem rebuild or aftermarket rods/pistons. have 183k so already starting to plan a rebuild. I will be boosting later maybe with a msp oem kit. 8psi or so. just to have a boosted daily

i supercharged mine at 167000 and the only issue ive had is breaking a 3/4 shifter fork (i believe) and i know of many people who have done that on non boosted cars, and the issue wasnt related to boost. superchargers put much less strain on the motor since the boost is constant and lower than a turbo kit, but dont be fooled, they make about the same as a msp at 8 psi when the sc is at 4 psi. and you can turn it off to save gas and strain on the motor.

true i might boost it now, but my question still is based on the prices of oem pistons and whats around for the p5 for aftermarket pistons/rods i should just get aftermarket ones since ill be in there already huh?

If you plan to stick with the p5 for a very long, granted that you won't get bored of it, go all out with forged internals. That way you won't have to get it rebuilt twice if you plan to throw in a forged motor, unless you have an extra on the side that you can swap in later.
