"I had my stock turbo reworked (by guy in New Jersey that I am not allow to name his name) to be able to flow more boost. My stock turbo was reworked to flow 575cfm which is like 39lb/hr. I went to dyno after the upgrade but I had boost controller issues. The pre upgrade dyno I made 226whp 264wtq with an MBC set around 15-16psi. The post upgrade made the same power but that was on WG only. The WG is a 15psi one so with the pressure drop through the stock core, that means I got 12-13psi at the intake.
These are just guestimates since I do not know for sure what it was running. My boost gauge read 14psi, but it doesn't read correct compared to 2 other mechanical gauges. I'm usually 1psi more then what the mechanical ones say. But for this, I say I made the same power with 1-2psi less.
The turbo is good for 20+psi before it goes out of its efficency range. It pulls harder and longer then the stocker so it definatly made a difference. I will be doing another dyno later, I need to get my EBC setup right. I also want to be able to run more boost without fuel cut so I can show the potential of the turbo."
I have not been able to get back to the dyno, but this thing does feel stronger then the stock one. I will get the pics back up later. If you want more info, you'll have to PM me or check the other board for the prices.
Nevermind, Modern Performance is where I had it done. Call them for pricing.
