rewiring the DTSS

rewiring the DTSS not much luck but almost there just hung up on rs input.This is NOT an RS232 input and connecting a PC serial port to it will probably pop the receiving chip. (232 = +/-12v), This port expects TTL level data (+/-5v) so either a MAX232 type chip to act as a gateway between 232-TTL or RS422 (available on AMX & Crestron) uses acceptable voltage. any thoughts , thanks
