I'm thinking the hood will make a massive diference in the temp! This is the Mod I did to the APC hood... It's not clean in the picture and has since been painted white.

niv, i dont have a picture of the intake in the car and my car is at the dealer getting a new turbo put on (been there going on 4weeks now), i am definately interested in the hood, if they can make plates to cover the vents that would be great.

i talked to marc about this and he has some ideas - i'll wait and see what he comes up with. so far everytime he's said that it's turned out well.

as for your intake....just based on that pic, it won't be in danger i dont' think in terms of location and water, but for clearance.. how high would you say that thing comes up? as high as oil cap? or the valve cover?

niv, i dont think it is any higher then the valve cover, do i dont think clearance is going to be a problem

Hey no worries I want this hood too - so as long as 15 you jump on it with me, the cheaper for all of us!

The g/b announcement should be up soon! (along with new pics of the hood.)

Apparently Marc's been busy making the hood look even better (according to sources - *cough* rubicon) with a couple changes fitment-wise, structure strengthwise, and water protection wise (although i was happy w/ first one, i think Marc's happy with it now - lolz)

holy cow, I never thought I'd see the day when an MSP owner was happy with a vendor product before the vendor was happy with it.
I can't wait to see what the final version of this looks like!
and I'm hoping the group buy will be in January AFTER I have paid property taxes, insurance, and xmas bills...
