Retractable cargo cover worth it on cx5?

That's so weird b/c mine didn't come with screws either. EIther that or I tossed them with the box it came in when I bought it after the car. Genuine part though. Thanks for the info on the other way to release the middle section. Didn't get to that portion in the 626 page manual yet.

Sure...

I wonder if there is an issue with your cover. Mine has those same screws but I can still easily remove.

Howdy Srad600,

My 2016 CX-5 GT is exactly like your pics with the screws on the bottom.

I'd tried to take mine out also, and I'm guessing the spring like MazdaDude said is
really stiff because I couldn't get it to move at first but then after feeling it give a little
I applied more pressure pushing towards the outside of the Car. It's like a Toilet Paper Roll,
pushing it to one side will let it come out of it's holding slot.

I just bought a 2016 cx5. Is the cargo cover worth it? I got a deal for $160 vs $200

I frequently transport a company laptop which is the #1 break-in-to-steal item in my metro area. If they can't see it they aren't tempted: the cargo cover makes that happen in a CUV. Tinted windows help a lot with hiding things but they aren't perfect.

I found mine for just a tad cheaper ($157) with free shipping.
