Just some comments from my latest track event.
The Carbotech Panther Plus brake pads were incredible. Not a single problem or close call with these pads. I was able to change to ATE Super Blue the night before I left and the brakes were working hard all weekend. This is by far the best mod I have made to the car. Fantastic.
My front driver's side Yokohama has seen better days. Beaver Run runs clockwise, and the right turns out number the lefts 8 to 4. It's probably good for another event, but it's now in the back to help even the wear.
The MP5 is just a bit too slow to be in with the 2 and 3 groups. I can put 2-3 car lengths on any car coming out of the first set of turns, but the straights are killing me. Another 20-30 ft.lbs. would hit the spot. Last year at the same track, some cars were passing my 2-3 times per session, this year was once if any.
