Did another few pulls yesterday after installing my Vibrant exhaust, Turbohoses SMIC and Injen CAI. The results seem a few hp lower than what I expected, but then again, so did my baseline last month. That very first baseline only showed 143 whp. The difference after the upgrades is 26 hp & 17 tq. However, the area under the curve improved across the board, and it definitely pulls better up top than before. Consistency has also improved, with my last two runs being back-to-back and less than 1 hp difference between them.

Of note is that pull #1 yesterday (#4 on the graph) was with the silencer installed in my muffler. Subsequent pulls without it showed no measurable difference. With my current setup, it makes no difference whether it's out or in. My guess is that it might make more difference if I was running more boost. I'm currently at stock levels, 6.5 psi +/-. *edit* Found out I'm at more like 7.5-8 psi.

One of these is hard to read because several pulls are crammed in on one small graph, but you get the idea. Runs 1, 2 and 3 were done last month. Runs 2 & 3 pretty much sucked because of heat soak with the factory IC. Runs 4, 5 and 6 were from yesterday, and run 4 was with the silencer.

Also, last months pulls were done with the wideband drawing from the tailpipe. With the new pulls, the wideband was installed in the extra bung in the Vibrant. That shop obviously has a problem with the wideband reading high when in the tailpipe.

Not too bad... When my cars running good, i'll do a before and after dyno for my exhaust, and we'll see how much it improves

Great HP for 1600 worth of mods.
How does the vibrant sound with silencer? Any clips with silencer in?
You have a great balance of mods without being excessive.

Thanks. Of course, I bought the SMIC and Injen used, so I saved a nice chunk. I'm happy with it overall, but still having some issues with getting the factory plastic charge pipes to seal on the SMIC. I've had several leaks and a couple of pop-offs, and that's with t-bar clamps.

I don't have any good clips of my car. I did take a brief .mov with my camera during the last dyno session, but the audio is so faint you can't really tell anything.
I don't think the silencer makes a huge difference, but it does help some. With or without it, I think the exhaust is louder inside the car than outside. I noticed that during the dyno session.

nice numbers man... for stock boost, thats damn impressive! Up that boost to even 8psi and there will be a huge difference, because your car is just going to make more power with more psi now that everything is uncorked.

I'd invest in a DSM afc, a nice greddy EBC, and call it a day. Easy 210-220whp on your set up with reliability and driveability!

Get an AFC, like right now. Your numbers are pretty close to mine at stock boost, but the AFC helps lean things out where needed because right now you are running super rich.
