it will "REcharge it". Factory PCM starts learning around it.
I do mine every 2 months. Then it feels new again.
Let it sit for 10 min, then pump the brakes a few times. Then reconnect battery.

good, bc i got my exhaust on and didnt disc. battery. i think i should do it but i didnt feel like taking unichip out

No, it doesnt learn around the tune. It feels fresh b/c you erased the keep alive memory in the system and any bad driving conditions it may have recorded. If the PCM sensed it need to pull some timing it may have left that change. You can reset the PCM by turning the car off, key out, and switching the ECU power button off on the Unichip switch.

i dont have any of the switches on the unichip, or the boost controller
you should. it comes out of the PnP harness 3 switches. you got a used or incomplete unit then.

no i didnt, i bought it new and it came with the 3 switches and the boost controller, stickers, keychain light, etc etc, i installed the switches and they didnt have any difference when i switched them back and forth, i tried it a few different ways, so i took it off completely and it runs like a champ, so to answer my ? disconnecting the battery cable wont "reset" or "wipe out" the unichips "memory"

When you baught your unichip, did they flash it for you with the msp map? Also unhooking the battery will not wipe the unichips flash, when I took mine in to get flashed I removed it from the car
