my power steering fluid was really low a couple of days ago, so i topped it off. today i went to check if i was leaking from a hose or from the pump itself.
i noticed that if the wheel is turned compeltely to one side and held, ps fluid will leak from what i think is the pressure valve.
what i need help with is figuring out if this is normal or if fluid should not be coming out the way it is...i.e. was too much fluid put it and the pump is just getting rid of excess fluid?? but if it was then why would it have discharged the fluid prior to this...as in why was my fluid low in the first place.
pic attached shows the valve, located directly facing the front, hope someon can have someone turn their wheel why they check if fluid will come out.
