Hello,
I have a 2001 Mazda Protege, 2.0, LX with front disk and rear drum brakes. I need to replace my calipers and purchased a set of replacement calipers. The current calipers have a hose connecting to them to the caliper with a metal covering at the end. This appears to be a shield of some sort to keep the brake line on. When I replace the existing caliper I will need to remove the metal sleeve and need to figure out what type of hose I should use to replace the original one with. The replacement caliper has a connector for the hose that is different that the OEM one. If anybody has had this issue and knows of a way to work through this I would appreciate some help.
Thanks!
Kevin M
