2017~2025 Replacing CX-5 ambient air temp sensor?

Hi all,

My AATS is showing 30c when it’s 2c out. It looks like it's a fairly common issue for these to go wrong. Mine is a 2017.

I want to replace it myself but I can't figure out where the location is and I'm having a hard time finding a good guide on Youtube or anywhere else really.

Does anyone have a source for replacing these?

It's accessible from the front end, after removal of the front bumper.

Here's a screen shot from a 2014-ish vintage CX-5 workshop manual. The MCX5.org website also shows the same thing.

Should be the same as I changed mine on a 2020 CX5. Lots of youtube videos simple job took less than an hour,I had some extra plastic body fastener push pins incase any broke which one did.Just take your time .
