replace ControlArm, suggest reinforcement plate l?

i am looking to replace two front rusty control arms first

aftermarket one look very thin and fragile maybe?

does msp control arm differ from protege ES? is the following two right parts?

rockauto.com , same control arms as those that are in the ES, DX, etc etc. bought both of mine from there. and no issues at all.

no point in the reinforcement plates unless youre auto-xing the car. and even then im not sure it would be needed.

MSPs are supposed to have stiffer suspension bushings so they should have a different part number but if you are buying aftermarket there is no difference it is just an inferior part to the OEM.

No, those aftermarket bushings are poly where as the OEMs are just rubber.

Get the Rock Auto ones then pick up some Whiteline Polyurethane Bushings.

heres the new arms arrived, theres a palm size plate in the middle section.


guess i will just keep it as is, and think about welding a AWR plate and new poly bushing when i have spare money?

Nice, I regret not getting the bushings knowing that I was going swap the control arms out.
