Just call your local rental places and ask.

A year, when I was about to buy a Mazda5 I rented one from Enterprise for the weekend. Bought a new Mazda5 a week later.

When I got mine 1/08 seems like it wasn't much more than $1K more to get a new one than from Ent., so not really a much better deal for the warranty miles & new car smell. Plus I wanted the sand interior.

What is the difference between a 4WD truck and rental car? There are places you won't take a 4WD truck

I tend to drive rental cars hard. Every acceleration at WOT, E-brake slides, etc. Hence why I don't plan to buy a rental car in the future.
