Removing spoiler of a '07 hatchback

Has anyone removed the spoiler off the top of the hatchback on a 3 yet? I haven't read about anyone doing it. I would like to remove the spoiler 1. because of the build up of dirt and its hard to clean under it and 2. Well I want to see what it would look like.

The spoiler really doesn't "need" to be removed. Take a soft toothbrush and clean the edge around it.

If you need to remove it, there are 3-4 nuts behind the inner panel and the plug for the center brake light to unplug and some wiring to fish through the hole. It might be mounted with adhesive as well so removing it might take off paint.
