removing roof rack

Can anyone describe the removal of the P5 roof rack or direct me to a link? Someone on the board said it takes 1/2 hour. I might remove mine for winter (alas, I have the strips!) to see (hear) what everyone's talking about. Thanks. Replacing the stock seperates with Alpine Type R tomorrow- awesome sound!

there's a how-to in the how-to section of the forum...make sure you order the clips with the strips.

I used a crowbar and touch-up paint.

and seeing as how you have a newer P5, the instrucitons are in your manual as well. but what you are looking for there is how to ADJUST the rack....the only difference with adjusting and removing it is that insted of just loostening the hold down bolts you REMOVE them and then the pieces can be removed and the caps/covers snapped into place.
