Removing inner door panel

I am an 05 mazda 3 hatchback with electric windows. Im wanting to add sound deadening to the inner door panels. I took the door panel off and realized there's a black plastic panel that holds the door lock and the whole window track i think. I took out all the screws holding this black panel and stopped once i noticed the window was attached to it. Anyone have any ideas on how to take this out of the car so that I can get to the outer door panel metal?

This is for the Mazda6 but the concepts are the same for the Mazda3. You need to remove the window glass first.
