Removing Factory Nav?

Is it possible/how hard would it be to remove the factory nav? I only have it because it was the last new MS6 in my city when I bought it and it had it. I never use it and its not the best gps out there anyways. Thinking of replacing it with gauges if possible.

It's a very very tedious job. I've looked into installing it in my car, but the cost and amount of work is pretty intensive. It involves a few wiring harnesses, the shifter surround, dvd reader, and screen just to give you an idea. If you want to swap nav with someone who doesn't have it, you might be alright.

your wasting your time removing it. why not just get the lotek pod and keep it closed all the time? you can just disconnect the system.
