remote start Heat system

One thing I dont like about my CX-9 For the momment is when you use the remote start to heat the car/engine.

The seat heater, defrost rear/front, and heat system doenst work until i turn the key knob inside the car.... I want the car to warm up before to get inside, its my car's wife, so the morning with cold temperature here, leather get very very cold and she dont like this, my child too .. ;)

Anyone know if its normal, or is a simple programmation that can be done by the dealer?

I think that I have the OEM remote start. and I have the inteligent key. (2008 GT)

In my mazda3 I dont have that problem.

Thank you if anyone can help me on this.

That would be a nice feature for the 9.

My Cadillac STS turns on the heated seats and heat, or cooled seats and A/C, depending on the exterior temp when I remote start it.

See this thread which seems to be your exact issue.

wow this is what I was looking for. I will change fuse this week and I will post result.

But I readed the procedure, but what is the utility of the load reduction relay harness kit ??

I readed everything but im just not sure....
if I need to change fuse everytime that happen is not a big problem for me..
I just dont want to damage anything..

can anyone explain me ?

Your dealer should fix the issue as per the service bulletin. Changing the fuse is just a band-aid until it happens again.

I also have remote start in my CX-9.
When you start your car remotely, the only thing does not turn on is rear defrost.
Front defrost, seat heater and heater/cooler will be on except you have a blown fuse in the remote start module.

How many of these remotes come with the unit (two?)? Is there anyway to program one of the buttons on the key remote to perform the remote start function?
